Assalamu Alaikum
I like to ask you about the Thablighi Jamath. Our Thablighi brothers often use to say that spend 4 months, if somebody doesn't spend 4 months he is told that if you die you will die without learning the Eeman.
1. What? Is it correct to say so to anyone?
2. Is it Fardh, Fardh Kifaya, Wajib or Nafl on each person to go in the Thablighi Jamath?
3. A person performs 5 times Namaz, God-fearing and daily listens the lessons, keeps on acquiring the religious knowledge through books or by refering to Ulemas, only sustainer of his family ( may be there are other people who earn). Even if this person does not spend 4 months the Thablighi brothers say that he will die without learning the Eeman. Isn' this a Kufriya speech?
5. In todays' situation how long a person can leave his wife and travel abroad? Is it correct to stay away for more than 4 or 6 months? If no, then what is the ruling of those Thablighi people who go for 1 year?

Your Fatwa is not correct at all, reply for the questions asked. And often Thablighis say like this. Please reply order-wise to these questions. Jazakallah
Tablighi Jama'at is purely a reforming organization, participating in which is a source of blessings. The main purpose of this Tablighi Jama'at is to propagate the Deen to others. Criticizing or raising objections against others is against the principles of this work, rather, the message of Deen should be conveyed to others through brotherhood, love and affection. This is the advice given by the elders who are responsible for the work of Tabligh. However, if a person involved in the work of Tabligh utters such statements, it is not correct to find fault with the work of Tabligh itself, or with those who are attached to it, rather it is the personal weakness of the one who had uttered the statement and his lack of understanding the principles of this effort. Considering this work to be reproachable due to the blunder of a single individual is not correct. On the contrary, it is essential to rectify the individual who uttered the statements. Furthermore, it is necessary for the elders of this work to address such matters, less such things become common, which is indeed detrimental to the work of Tabligh.
