must avoid publicizing made-up narrations amongst people before clarifying

Nowadays, Ahadith are being posted on Facebook about the Islamic months. One post mentions that the first person to inform someone else about the months of Ramadan, Muharram and Rabi-Al-Awwal will be saved from the fire of Hell. Please inform about the authenticity of this Hadith.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

There is no such narration in which it is mentioned that one who informs about the Islamic month will be saved from the fire of Hell. It is indeed very sinful for post such made-up narrations on Facebook and other platforms, and publicize it amongst people. Strict warnings for this has been narrated in Ahadith. For this reason, one must avoid publicizing made-up narrations amongst people before clarifying it firstly.
