Pouring blood on the foundation of a building

Is it permissible to pour blood on the foundation of a house we want to build?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Pouring blood in the foundation of a building before the beginning its construction is a practice of the Hindus. There is no basis for this practice in the Shari’ah, hence, it must be abstained from.
And Allah knows best.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

قال اللہ تعالٰی: ﴿قالوا طٰئرکم معکم أءن ذکرتم بل أنتم قوم مسرفون﴾ [یٰسٓ: ١٩]
وفی سنن أبی داؤد: ٣٩٢١: حدثنا أحمد ابن حنبل (إلٰی قولہ) قال أحمد ن القرشی قال ذکرت الطیرۃ عند النبی ﷺ فقال: أحسنھا الفأل ولا ترد مسلمًا فإذا رأی أحدکم مایکرہٗ فلیقل اللھم (الحدیث) وفی الھامش تحت الحدیث: وأصلہ أنھم کانوا فی الجاھلیۃ إذا خرجوا للحاجۃ فإن رأوا الطیر طار عن یمینھم فرحوا بہ واستمروا وإن طار عن یسارھم تشائموا بہ۔ اھـ (ج٢، ص١٩٠) واللہ تعالیٰ اعلم بالصواب
