Ghulam Ahmed Pervez And His Refutation of Ahadith

AOA. Please provide Fatwa about the people who deny Hadith as an authentic source for Islamic Law and Belief. Also please provide Fatwa about Ghulam Ahmed Pervez. Please suggest any good Urdu or English books on this topic or any internet articles/links. Jazakallah.

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

According to the unanimous opinion of the scholars of Islam, the only reliable source and reference to the dictations of the Shari'ah after the Holy Qur’an is the blessed Ahadith/narrations of the Holy Prophet- As a matter of fact, the Holy Qur'an can neither be fully understood, nor properly practiced upon without the guidance and teachings of the messenger of Allah found in the Ahadith. In other words, the refutation of Ahadith is in fact the refutation of the Holy Qur'an itself, which is indeed an open act of misguidance.
As for Ghulam Ahmed Pervez and his followers, not only do they refute Ahadith, but also, they present such inaccurate interpretations and elucidations of the injunctions of the Holy Qur’an, such as Salah, Fasting, Hajj etc., that can be considered as the distortion of the Holy Qur'an. Therefore, Ghulam Ahmed Pervez and his followers, due to their incorrect beliefs and perceptions, are undoubtedly outside of the fold of Islam .

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

قال اللہ تعالیٰ: ﴿وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى، إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى﴾ (النجم: 3، 4)
و فی أحكام القرآن للجصاص: ﴿قال الله تعالى أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول﴾
وقال تعالى: ﴿وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا ليطاع بإذن الله وقال تعالى من يطع الرسول فقد أطاع الله﴾وقال تعالى فلا وربك لا يؤمنون حتى يحكموك فيما شجر بينهم ثم لا يجدوا في أنفسهم حرجا مما قضيت ويسلموا تسليما فأكد جل وعلا بهذه الآيات وجوب طاعة رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وأبان أن طاعته إطاعة الله وأفاد بذلك أن معصيته معصية الله الخ(3/ 180) والله أعلم!
