While watching T.V thought comes to mind this is a sinful but Allah is the most forgiving

If while watching T.V, the thought comes to mind that this is a sinful action but it can be left off anytime, and Allah is the most forgiving so repentance can be done afterwards, is this disbelief?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Even though it is not disbelief to continue committing a sinful act thinking that Allah is the most forgiving and repentance can be done afterwards, it is still a great trick from Shaytan. In fact, continuously committing sins in such a manner will cause a black mark to appear on one’s heart and one will soon consider his sinful action insignificant. Then, his sinful action may ultimately cause him to be deprived of Iman and piety. For this reason, one should refrain from this habit.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

قال تعالیٰ: ’’ کلا بل ران علیٰ قُلوبھم ما کانوا یکسبون’’ الآیۃ ( المطففین: ۱۴)
و فی سنن الترمذی: عن أبي هريرة : عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال إن العبد إذا أخطأ خطيئة نكتت في قلبه نكتة سوداء فإذا هو نزع واستغفر وتاب سقل قلبه وإن عاد زيد فيها حتى تعلو قلبه وهو الران الذي ذكر الله { كلا بل ران على قلوبهم ما كانوا يكسبون } ( رقم الحدیث:۷۹۳۹) و اللہ أعلم بالصواب
