ُRuling on printing out images

Someone provides a printing service but he only takes orders and does the designing. He gets the printing done somewhere else. If a customer needs to get something printed on anything like a mug etc. then this can be done through the service he provides. Is this permissible? Who will be sinful for this? He does all of the designing himself. Will he be sinful for this?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

If the designing is not of images of living things, or even of it is, but the image is so small and unclear that it is not regarded as an image (according to the Shari’ah), then it would be permissible to get it printed out, and to receive a wage for providing such a service. However, if the designing includes images of living things, then printing it out would not be permissible. This must be avoided.
