Ushr upon crops watered by a solar powered tube wheel

Is Ushr (10% of the harvested crops) or Nisf-e-Ursh (5% of the harvested crops) due upon crops watered by a solar powered tube-wheel?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Nisf-e-Ushr is due upon the crops which are watered by a tube-wheel regardless of whether the tube-wheel is powered by solar energy or electricity.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

فی الہدایۃ: وما سقی بغرب أو دالیۃ أو سانیۃ ففیہ نصف العشر علی القولین لأن المؤونۃ نکثر فیہ وتقل فیما یسقی بالسماء أو سیعًا (ج:۱ ص: ۲۰۲)
فی الدر المختار: ویجب نصفہ فی مسقی غرب أی دلو کبیر أو دالیۃ أی دولاب لکثرۃ المؤنۃ (ج:۲ ص: ۳۲۸)۔۔۔ واللہ تعالٰی اعلم بالصواب
