Can Jinns enter the body of a human being?

Can Jinns enter the body of a human being?

Can Jinns live inside the body or limb of a human being? If this is possible, then how can one remove them?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

The Jinn is an unseen being to whom Allah, the most high, has granted certain strengths and abilities which make it possible for them to enter the body or limb of a human being. It has been narrated in Ahadith that the following supplication protects from their evil:
“اعوذ مکلمات اللہ التامۃ من غضبہ وشرّ عبادہ ومن ھمزات الشیاطین وان یحضرون”
One should be particular about reciting this supplication. However, it may also be of benefit to seek treatment for their evils from a proficient scholar of Deen (i.e. one who is meticulous about adhering to Islamic traditions and possesses the knowledge of the nature of the Jinn, and the treatment for their evils).
