If a daughter or sister runs away from home and gets married, and she is 17 years old, whether her marriage proposal had already been arranged somewhere or not, and she does not care about the honor and respect of her father, mother, brothers, and sisters.
and, on top of that, she gives a statement to the police against my father and brother, falsely accusing them of beating her and making such allegations against them.
A year after running away from home, the same person she ran away with divorces her. Then she marries someone else without informing us, and after about three months, she is divorced from that marriage as well.
Since the day she left home, no one in the family has contacted her. From that very day, we accepted that she is no longer from one of us.
Now she has been divorced again and lives alone. She does not even have enough shame or modesty and started to come and live near our house.
Every day, my father has to listen to taunts from relatives because of her, and he is humiliated.
My conscience and my sense of honor cannot accept her. Again and again, the thought comes into my mind that I should kill her.
If the questioner’s statement is indeed correct and based on reality, then the act of the mentioned girl dishonoring her parents and family by running away from home and marrying, and making false accusations against her father and brother, is a grave sin and a highly condemnable act because it involves immodesty and false accusations. She should sincerely repent before Allah Almighty for these actions.
However, because of these actions, the questioner or any other person has no right to kill her. Therefore, it is not permissible in Islamic law for the questioner to take her life.
Nevertheless, if due to her living alone her chastity and dignity are not protected, and despite being advised she does not stop from her conduct, then legal action may be taken against her, or efforts can be made at the community level to prevent such behavior.
