during Ghusl women should move the ear-rings so the water can reach the piercings

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullahi Wa Barakathuhu

Sir, I have a question. I read in Behashti Zewar (بہشتی زیور) that during Ghusl women should move the ear-rings so the water can reach the piercings. Should I keep my ear under the water tap and move them or remove my ear from under the tap and then move the ear-rings?

The purpose is, to move the ear-rings while washing the head so that the interior part of the ears do not remain dry. In this context, it could be done in any manner and both the manners described in the question are correct.
