Is the floor of the masjid alive?

Is it true that the floor of the masjid is alive, and that we should not put hot utensils on the floor of the masjid?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

The floor of the masjid being alive is of the misconceptions of the general mass. There is no basis for this in the Shari’ah. Hence, there is nothing wrong, as per Shari’ah, to put hot utensils on the floor of the masjid.
