Sleeping with Wife while Fasting and Giving Zakat to Husband

Assalamu Alaikum 1. Can a wife give her Zakath to her husband? 2. During Ramazan while in the state of fasting is it permissible or not to sleep with wife? Please reply in detail. 3. While in the state of fasting is it permissible under emergency to give his blood to another?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

1. No.

2. Although it is not prohibited in Shari’a for a husband and wife to sleep together while observing Fast, yet, it is Makrooh if the couple is young and there is a fear of intimacy and invalidating the fast. Therefore abstaining from this preferable.

3. Although giving blood does not nullify the fast, it is Makrooh if there is a risk of the fasting person becoming weak.
