assalamo alaikum, I would be very much obliged if you would kindly clarify the following: Q, when I were in Saudi Arabia I experienced that those people never read 4 Rakah Sunnah, they only read 2 Rakah Sunnah in Namaz e Zuhr (which is we have been told that we have to read before Farz of Zuhr we have to read 4 akah Sunnah, MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE RIGHT WAY WHETHER IS 2 RAKAH OF SUNNAH OR 4 RAKAH OF SUNNAH? Second Q, they also read Takbeer before Namaz only half of it.(THEY READ IN SHORT)BUT WE READ READ THE AKBEER SAME AS AZAAN IN ADDTION WITH QAD KAMATIS SALAH , THEN AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE RIGHT WAY?

Most of those who conduct Imamath in Saudi Arabia in present days are followers of Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal Rahimahullah and in their Mazhab there are two Raka'aat of Sunnath before Zuhar. Likewise the Iqamath which is pronounced before Namaz too consists of eleven Kalimaat and this too is based on it whereas among the Ahnaf as per authentic Ahadees, it is Masnoon to perform four Raka'aath Sunnath before Zuhar and to pronounce Iqamath like Azan with the addition of "Qad Qamathis Salath". Therefore it is necessary for the questioner to be vigilant in such things.
