Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmathullahi wa Barakathuhu! May Allah enlighten the entire world through your wisdom and make it a Sadaqa e Jari'a for you......aameen! The money utilized in Madrasa"s Mess is 95% from the aid of Zakat. What arrangement can be made for respected Asathiza (who are not entitled for Zakat) from the Mess as ration against salary........ Entertainment for guests of Madrasa.........Arrangements of meals for all the students whereas students are adults and minors and also the parents who are entitled and not entitled to receive Zakat..... Please send detailed reply so that work will become convenient. Please reply even if there is no provision in Shari'a. Jazakumullah Khaira. Awaiting reply.
الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً
It is not permissible to feed those who are not entitled to receive Zakat from the funds of Zakat regardless of them being students, teachers or employees. By this (act) the Zakat of the givers too would not be executed. However, if a reasonable amount is added for those who are barred from Zakat from a non-Zakat fund then there is no harm in giving them food. Otherwise it is incumbent to abstain from it.
