What is the message of the Qur'an for those who are constantly facing hardships in life and have lost the strength to keep struggling?
In such a situation, losing hope is absolutely wrong and impermissible in fact, at times, this attitude can even lead to disbelief (kufr). A person should continue striving and making effort, while refraining from forbidden acts, immoral behavior, and indecency. Since trials and difficulties are often related to one’s deeds, one should turn sincerely to Allah for relief and ease. If a person endures hardships in this world while accepting them as the decree of Allah. there is immense reward and compensation for this in the Hereafter.
