Can a young female kiss a young female’s lips as an act of affection?

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

It is okay to kiss someone’s forehead with affection. Whereas, kissing someone’s lips is not an act of affection, but of sexual desire. This should be avoided.
