What do the learned scholars say about the issue of a person who has taken a loan from a bank on interest and has not yet repaid the loan, but at the time of taking the loan, the interest rate was determined and signed in writing. So now, is it permissible to perform sacrifices, etc. or charity, etc. with this borrowed money? Or can this money be used for one's own use or not? Explain the issue in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. If the loan is now repaid with interest, will the borrower be a sinner or not?
Apart from the matter that, interest-bearing loans is unlawful and forbidden according to Sharia, and, such a loan is, if taken for the purpose of sacrifice, its infamy and ugliness increases even more. However, the amount mentioned in the case been taken on loan does not contain interest, but is simply the amount of the loan, from which the person who has reached the eligibility, can sacrifice or give charity. And if, on the grounds that doing so will encourage those who engage in interest-bearing transactions, then it is better and more preferable to refrain from sacrificing or giving charity with this amount. As for returning the amount with interest, the person in question will be a sinner, for which, he should sincerely repent and seek forgiveness from the almighty.
