A husband and wife kissing each other’s private parts.

Assalamu alaikum, I belong to Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama ah (Deobandi), Alhamdulillah. I am about to get married soon. My question may seem a little immodest, but it is quite important for me. My question is: after marriage, can a husband-and-wife kiss each other’s private parts or not? Is this permissible in Islam or not? Allah Almighty has said: ‘Your wives are a tilth for you.’ May Allah forgive any shortcomings. Kindly explain this matter in detail. May Allah grant you the best of rewards and bless you with success in this world and the Hereafter. Wassalam

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

It should be understood that the sacred Shariah has also outlined etiquettes for marital relations. For example, to uncover only as much as is necessary, to avoid looking directly at the private parts during intercourse, and not to engage in intercourse while being completely naked like animals. Therefore, during intercourse, for the husband and wife to kiss each other’s private parts, to lick them, or for the husband to insert his private part into his wife’s mouth to fulfill carnal desires, is an act that goes against a sound nature. It is extremely undesirable and immodest, and at times there is also the risk of impurity coming onto the tongue. Hence, it is necessary to refrain from such practices.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

کما فی سنن ابن ماجہ:"عن عتبة بن عبداللہ السلمي، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا أتى أحدكم أهله ‌فليستتر، ولا يتجرد تجرد البعير»."(1/418)۔
وفی المحیط البرھانی:"إذا ‌أدخل ‌الرجل ذكره فم أمرأته فقد قيل: يكره؛ لأنه موضع قراءة القرآن، فلا يليق به إدخال الذكر فيه، وقد قيل بخلافه."(کتاب الاستحسان و الکراهیة ، 5/408 دارالکتب العلمیة ، بیروت ۔ لبنان)۔
وفي الفتاوى الهندية: في النوازل إذا أدخل الرجل ذكره في فم امرأته قد قيل يكره وقد قيل بخلافه كذا في الذخيرة. (5/ 372)۔
