How is it to name a girl "Arha"?

We refer to you to seek guidance regarding our daughter’s name. Our daughter’s name is "Arha Farooq Tirmidhi", and her date of birth is 23 December 2025. We have heard differing opinions from some people regarding this name, which has caused concern in our hearts. According to our own research, the meaning of “Arha” is understood to be peace, tranquility, or a gift/blessing from Allah. However, we seek authentic religious and scholarly guidance on this matter so that our hearts are fully satisfied

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

The name "Araha" mentioned by the questioner, could not be found even after extensive searching, in any authentic Arabic or Urdu dictionary. Therefore, if it is possible to change the name conveniently and without difficulty, it would be better for the questioner to change his daughter’s name to another good name with a meaningful interpretation.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

عن أبي الدرداءرضی اللہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إنكم تدعون يوم القيامة بأسمائكم وأسماء آبائكم، ‌فاحسنوا ‌أسماءكم. أخرج الإمام أبوداود السجستانی في ’’سننہ‘‘(303/7)(الحدیث رقم: 4948)
و فیہ ایضا : عن ابن عمر، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "‌أحب ‌الأسماء ‌إلى ‌الله ‌تعالى: ‌عبد ‌الله وعبد الرحمن" (رقم حدیث :4949)
وفی سنن الترمذی : عن ابن عمر «أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‌غير ‌اسم ‌عاصية وقال: أنت جميلة.» (ج: 5،ص: 173)
