I work in a U.N. office. Is my salary lawful? I work as a radio operator. Whichever vehicle comes out of the motor office, I record its number plate and the names of whoever is in it (i.e. driver, passenger etc.). I also reply to the phone calls made or emails sent to the office. Nothing un-islamic is included in my work task. Please inform me through the light of the Quran and Sunnah regarding the permissibility of my job.
Fulfilling the mentioned tasks in the U.N. office as a job and its salary is Halal and lawful for the questioner.
And Allah knows best.
