If a person drank from a bottle thinking it contained water (as it was normally used for water), but it actually contained alcohol, and he consumed it unintentionally due to this mistake, then as soon as he realized it was alcohol he spat it out, and whatever had gone down his throat he vomited out — what will be the ruling in this case?
If the incident described is genuine, then in such a situation the person will not be sinful due to having consumed alcohol unknowingly. However, it is necessary for him to exercise great caution in this matter in the future.
