Employment in NADRA office.

How is it to work as a Junior Executive in NADRA? While doing this job, women also come to make their cards and self has to speak with them in the process, and also, photos have to be taken for identity cards. Please answer a little sooner. Jazak Allah Khaira

الجوابُ حامِدا ًو مُصلیِّا ً

Let it be known that it is permissible according to Sharia to talk to women when there is necessity, while it is also permissible according to Sharia to take their pictures for official records in order to perform one's duty. Therefore, if the questioner does not fear being involved in any sin, then there is a possibility in taking up the aforementioned job and there is no harm in it.

مأخَذُ الفَتوی

کما فی البحر الرائق: ‌وأما ‌ركنها ‌فهو ‌الإيجاب ‌والقبول ‌والارتباط ‌بينهما، وأما شرط جوازها فثلاثة أشياء: أجر معلوم، وعين معلوم، وبدل معلوم الخ(کتاب الاجارۃ، ج 8، ص 3، ط : دار الكتاب الإسلامي)۔
وفی رد المحتار: تحت (قوله وجاز تعمير كنيسة) قال في الخانية: ‌ولو ‌آجر ‌نفسه ‌ليعمل ‌في ‌الكنيسة ‌ويعمرها ‌لا ‌بأس ‌به ‌لأنه ‌لا ‌معصية ‌في ‌عين ‌العمل الخ(‌‌كتاب الحظر والإباحة ، فصل في البيع، ج 6 ص 391، ط : سعيد)۔
وفي منحة الخالق : ‌فإنا ‌نجيز ‌الكلام ‌مع ‌النساء ‌الأجانب ‌ومحاورتهن ‌عند ‌الحاجة ‌إلى ذلك ولا نجيز لهن رفع أصواتهن ولا تمطيطها ولا تليينها وتقطيعها لما في ذلك من استمالة الرجال إليهن وتحريك الشهوات منهم ومن هذا لم يجز أن تؤذن المرأة. اهـ.(باب شروط الصلاة، ج 1، ص 285، ط : دار الكتاب الإسلامي)۔
