There are some items in Peshawar, like T.Vs and other electronics, which is attained through smuggling and is sold at a cheap price. These items are also available in markets, and are not sold secretly. Is it Haram to purchase the cheaper ones?
It is permissible to buy or sell an item attained through smuggling as long as it is owned by the seller, and the income from selling such items will also be Halal. However, buying and selling non-duty paid items is against the law, hence doing such is not correct and should be avoided.
