What do the esteemed scholars and jurists of Islam say regarding the following matter that I purchased a car by paying in cash. However, I later found out that the car had originally been purchased by the seller using money obtained through interest (riba).
Since I bought it with my own lawful cash, my question is: Will the impurity or ill-effect (nahoosat) of interest still remain in the car or not?
Kindly provide a clear and detailed answer.
In the mentioned case, the purchase of the car is Islamically valid and permissible, therefore, one should avoid falling into unnecessary doubts and suspicions.
